Although Dr. Mario Martinez is a licensed clinical psychologist, he offers a model of personal development that replaces doctor/patient pathology-labeling, with teacher/student exploration of personal excellence. In this webinar Dr. Martinez will share his latest discoveries on how to change our default mode network (the autopilot) that drives unwanted behavior when we go off task. While meditation, exercise, and other task-focusing can get us out of the default mode, none changes the patterns of the default mode. By addressing how this network works and applying the biocognitive methods for recontextualizing these patterns, participants will gain valuable tools to take control of their mental processes and reduce unwanted behavior.
